βš–οΈ HANDICAP FORMAT – EQUALIZER SYSTEM
This tournament uses a Class-Based Handicap system.
β€’ Bowlers are placed into classes based on verified averages
β€’ Each class receives a fixed number of handicap pins per game
β€’ Team handicap is the combined pins of both bowlers
β€’ Handicap is calculated using a 215 Scratch Base
β€’ Maximum individual handicap: 50 pins per game
Handicap is based on a 215 scratch foundation. Each bowler is placed into a class based on verified average and receives the following handicap pins per game:
Class A: 215+ avg β€” 0 pins (Scratch)
Class B: 205–214 β€” +5 pins
Class C: 195–204 β€” +10 pins
Class D: 185–194 β€” +15 pins
Class E: 175–184 β€” +20 pins
Class F: 165–174 β€” +25 pins
Class G: 150–164 β€” +35 pins
Class H: Below 150 β€” +50 pins (max)
Team handicap is the combined pins of both bowlers.
This system is designed to create fair competition while still rewarding execution and consistency.

The TKS Tournament Series is made up of 12 guaranteed total events throughout the season. Each event offers its own prize fund, and side action β€” but all of them lead to the Grand Final Tournament.

  • To be eligible for the TKS Grand Final, bowlers must:

  • Compete in at least 2 TKS Doubles Series Events during the season.

  • The Grand Final Prize Fund will include all sponsor contributions + added money from the series.
